Roma's Alexander Doni is expected to sign to Liverpool within the next two days.
The Brazilian goalkeeper’s negotiations with the Reds were thought to have broken down last month due to financial prospects, but his agent has said that a deal is imminent.
“In the next 36 hours we will know something definite,” Ovidio Colucci told PA Sport. “Liverpool are interested in Doni and there is the agreement between the two clubs and with the player.
“If the deal is completed, Doni will join Liverpool on a free transfer and will sign a two-year contract.”
The 31-year-old has played for the Serie A side since 2005.
