Adam Lallana's relationship with Southampton has reportedly come under strain due to the club's current unwillingness to agree the sale of the midfielder to Liverpool.
The England international, who has flown to Miami with the Three Lions for two World Cup warm-up matches, is believed to be interested in signing for the Merseyside outfit.
Reports have claimed that Liverpool have upped their bid from £20m to £25m in order to complete the deal before the start of the World Cup on June 12.
However, widespread reports have suggested that the Saints hierarchy are stalling on finalising the move until the tournament in Brazil is over.
According to BBC Radio Solent, Lallana is becoming increasingly frustrated with the club after a number of his calls to board members regarding the move over the weekend went unanswered.
Lallana reportedly believes that Southampton should be more sympathetic to his desire to play Champions League football with Liverpool.
