Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly decided to enter the race to sign Lyon forward Nabil Fekir.
Spurs made just one notable signing throughout 2018, and Mauricio Pochettino has previously suggested that the Premier League giants will not look to make any additions in January.
However, Harry Kane has been ruled out until at least the start of March with an ankle injury, leaving the Argentine to decide whether to replace the England international before the end of the month.
According to Calciomercato, Pochettino may take the opportunity to try to edge out Liverpool for France international Fekir.
The 25-year-old has just 18 months remaining on his contract, and it appears inevitable that the attacker will leave the Ligue 1 side either in January or the summer.
Real Madrid have also allegedly been offered an opportunity to sign Fekir.
