Swansea City and Liverpool have reportedly opened talks regarding a summer move for midfielder Jonjo Shelvey.
Reds manager Brendan Rodgers is reported to have made Shelvey available for transfer after the 21-year-old made just nine Premier League starts last season.
Swansea are keen admirers of Shelvey and, according to the Daily Mail, they are aware that they will need to pay Liverpool between £5m and £8m if they wish to bring him to Wales.
Shelvey signed a long-term contract 12 months ago, committing his future to the Anfield club until June 2017.
