Roque Santa Cruz is confident that Malaga can progress in the Champions League following their goalless draw with Borussia Dortmund in the quarter-finals.

Roque Santa Cruz has insisted that Malaga can progress in the Champions League following their 0-0 draw with Borussia Dortmund in the quarter-finals.

Both sides failed to break the deadlock in the first leg at La Rosaleda on Wednesday night to leave the tie in the balance.

"Football is a beautiful sport," Santa Cruz told Sky Sports News. "When you think everything is not possible, then something happens.

"I think we have the players, and we also have the ambience in the team, to go there and play a great game and qualify."

Malaga travel to Germany for the second leg on Tuesday.
