Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany thinks that the North West side have a good chance of reaching the knockout stages of the Champions League, despite facing an uphill struggle.
Roberto Mancini's side will progress to the final sixteen of the elite competition if they defeat Bayern Munich tomorrow and Villarreal prevent Napoli from getting a result.
"Any team coming [to the Etihad Stadium] is not going to be favourite, I don't care who they are," the Daily Star quotes Kompany as saying. "Bayern are a team that know each other very well.
"They have played together for a long time and have a habit of being in these big occasions so we can't underestimate the fact that they will be ready. But it will be a special night, and with the players we have, we are capable of anything.
"It will be a hard game but we have every reason to still believe in it because Napoli have an equally hard game on their hands. We believe 100% we can do it."
Meanwhile, Chelsea need to take three points against Valencia this evening and Manchester United need a draw against FC Basel to make it through to the next stage of the competition.
