Manchester City captain Vincent Komapany has revealed that he has not given up on his side's chances in the Champions League.
Qualification for the next round looks increasingly difficult for the Blues after their 2-1 defeat to Napoli on Tuesday.
City now need to beat Bayern Munich and hope that Villarreal get a result against the Serie A side in the next round of fixtures.
"It is by far the hardest group in the Champions League," the 25-year-old told Sky Sports News. "It was never going to be easy and always a case of going to the last game.
"I wouldn't say qualifying is a miracle because all Villarreal need is a draw and Villarreal is a difficult away game.
"We've got to focus on our game and try to beat Bayern Munich."
City next take on Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday.
