Samir Nasri: 'We won't dwell on Bayern Munich defeat'

Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri admits that he is pleased that his side haven't had time to dwell on their defeat to Bayern Munich on Wednesday.

Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri has admitted that Everton's current form will ensure that they forget about their defeat to Bayern Munich on Wednesday night.

City were outplayed by the European champions in the Champions League, but Nasri has revealed that his side are focused on ending Everton's unbeaten record in the Premier League.

The 26-year-old told the Daily Star: "The good thing is that we don't have long to dwell on that game. It's back to Premier League business quickly and that's definitely a good thing.

"We had to do a lot of running against Bayern. But that's our job. It's a good thing that we are getting a match so quickly.

"We have had a rough week with two losses so we need to bounce back with a win against Everton and that won't be easy because they have been in good form."

Three points for City will see them move into second position in the league table.
