Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini is 'angered' by questions from reporters regarding his opportunity to move to another club in the summer.

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has responded angrily to questions from reporters regarding his future with the Premier League champions.

The Italian boss revealed last week that he had received interest from seven or eight clubs during the summer but instead opted to sign a new contract with the North West outfit.

"Why do you keep asking me about last month and last season?" said Mancini in a press conference. "Why do you keep asking me about last year? I stayed here, my work is here. I believe in the future of this team.

"For 15 years the club won nothing and now we've won the Premier League and FA Cup in two years. I come here and I am polite and I answer your questions. Every year I may have one or two situations where I could leave the club but I want to stay here and work here."

Mancini's side are preparing for a must-win Champions League fixture against Ajax tomorrow.
