Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini says that his players must forget last Sunday's 6-1 thrashing of Manchester United as they prepare to face Wolves.

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has told his players that they must forget last weekend's 6-1 thumping of Manchester United as they prepare to take on Wolves tomorrow (Saturday).

The emphatic win at Old Trafford last Sunday has moved the Blues five points clear at the top of the Premier League table.

"The feeling is good but the game is in the past now, it is history, finished. We have to focus on Wolves," said Mancini.

"For me it is better to win six derbies 1-0 than one 6-1.

"I think we are working very well but if we want to become a top team for the next 20 years we cannot be happy only because we beat United 6-1. It is not important."

Mancini's side defeated Wolves 5-2 in the Carling Cup at Molineux on Wednesday.
