Manchester City winger Scott Sinclair has admitted that it is tough to secure a first-team position in the North West team.
The 23-year-old moved to the Etihad Stadium from Swansea City in the summer but has since struggled to force his way into Roberto Mancini's starting XI.
"I don't know how often I'll play because competition for places is intense," Sky Sports News quotes Sinclair as saying.
"I made my debut against Stoke and then played against Arsenal and Aston Villa. All I can do now is concentrate on the next game and give 100%.
"I'm just looking forward to playing in any games. All I can do is try to make an impact when the opportunity arises."
Meanwhile, the Premier League champions are preparing to face West Ham United this weekend.
