Manchester City will reportedly review Manuel Pellegrini's position as manager at the end of the season.
The Chilean's job is not currently under threat as chairman Khaldoon Al-Mubarak is waiting until the summer break to make a decision about his future, according to the Daily Star.
Pellegrini has found himself under mounting pressure following a run of one win in six matches, form that has seen them lose ground on Premier League leaders Chelsea.
City are also bottom of their Champions League group after failing to win any of their opening matches, and crashed out of the Capital One Cup at the hands of Newcastle United.
The report claims that failure to mount a title challenge this season could see Pellegrini facing the axe in the summer.
