Javi Garcia reverts to a defensive role in Vincent Kompany's absence for Manchester City's match at Queens Park Rangers.

Midfielder Javi Garcia will feature as a centre-back for Manchester City during their trip to Queens Park Rangers this evening.

The former Benfica player has replaced injured captain Vincent Kompany, while Samir Nasri has returned to the starting lineup following a three-match suspension.

Meanwhile, Loic Remy will play as a lone centre-forward for the hosting R's, who will use Manchester United loanee Fabio da Silva as a winger.
