Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko has revealed that he is not angling for a move away from the Etihad Stadium, following reports that the forward could be sold this summer.
The 26-year-old has been linked with a switch to Serie A, with AC Milan thought to be interested in signing the Bosnian as a replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who completed a move to Paris Saint-Germain this week.
"After new speculation about my departure from City and the statements of individuals, who are talking like they are my manager, I would like to inform the public that I have not had any negotiations with Milan," Dzeko said on his official website.
"My manager is Irfan Redzepagic and neither of us are pushing for my departure from City. I'm only focused on Manchester City and I do not care about media speculation, especially when it comes from people who have nothing to do with me."
The Premier League champions were also swift to dismiss speculation linking Dzeko with a transfer to the San Siro.
