Manchester City winger Adam Johnson has revealed that he will be seeking talks with manager Roberto Mancini to clarify his future at the club.
Johnson has grown increasingly frustrated with a lack of first-team football at the Etihad, and is the subject of a £10m bid from Sunderland, according to the Daily Star.
The 25-year-old said: "It's not true that there has been a bust-up.
"I haven't really spoken to him, but I will. In the next few weeks we'll find out what is happening.
I think that was part of why I missed out on the England squad in the summer, as I didn't play regularly enough."
Johnson played 90 minutes for his country on Wednesday as England beat Italy 2-1.
