Phil Foden is reportedly expected to sign a new contract with Manchester City that will treble his weekly wages.
The City academy graduate earns £65,000 a week on his current deal that runs until 2024, but he is set to put pen to paper on a new contract which would result in a significant pay increase.
According to The Sun, the 22-year-old is expected to sign a new deal with Man City that would see his weekly wages treble to £200k.
City believe the sale of Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling, who is expected to join Chelsea, will help the club save £400,000 a week, which will help pay for Foden's new contract.
The saving will also help the Citizens cover Rodri's new contract, with the midfielder also set to receive a pay increase.
Since making his debut for the club in 2017, Foden has gone on to score 45 goals in 167 appearances.
