Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini reveals that Carlos Tevez and Edin Dzeko will remain with the Premier League champions this summer.

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has confirmed that strike duo Carlos Tevez and Edin Dzeko will remain with the Premier League champions.

Both players have been linked with moves abroad this summer, with AC Milan reportedly interested in at least one of the two, but Mancini has quelled suggestions of a move.

"Both Dzeko and Tevez will stay at City. We are a great team and we try to keep all our great players. It won't be easy but they will stay here," Mancini told Sky Italia.

"We still lack a couple of players to reach [the level of] Real Madrid and Barcelona. Also our mentality has to grow season by season."

Tevez managed four goals in 14 games for City last season, while Dzeko struck 19 in 40 games.
