Report: Daniel Arzani passes Celtic medical ahead of loan switch

Daniel Arzani is to link up with Celtic on a two-year loan deal from Manchester City after completing a medical in Glasgow, a report claims.

Celtic are on the verge of completing the loan signing of Manchester City midfielder Daniel Arzani, according to a report.

The 19-year-old, who represented Australia at this summer's World Cup finals, is said to have completed a medical in Glasgow on Wednesday morning.

Sky Sports News suggests that Celtic have agreed terms on a two-year loan deal with City, with Brendan Rodgers keen to add the "exciting youngster" to his squad.

Arzani is now on Man City's books after joining from sister club Melbourne City, but will not feature for the Citizens until the 2020-21 season at the earliest.

The transfer window does not close for Scottish clubs until the end of August.
