Pablo Zabaleta has revealed that his Argentinian international teammate Lionel Messi has asked him what life is like at Manchester City.
The players are likely to face each other when City take on Barcelona in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie on Tuesday night.
He told The Mirror: "When I came to City, after three or four months I went back to Barcelona because we had a couple of days off.
"I went to Leo's house and everybody was talking about the new owners and the big money. Leo has asked me what it is like to be here. I would like to show him around Manchester.
"Maybe I could take him out to Didsbury and we could have some fish and chips. I think he would like that!"
Zabaleta spent three years with Barca's city rivals Espanyol before moving to the Etihad Stadium in 2008.
