Manchester United manager David Moyes has revealed his delight at reaching the semi-finals of the League Cup.
The Red Devils claimed a 2-0 victory over Stoke City, thanks to second-half goals from Ashley Young and Patrice Evra.
Moyes expressed his relief at winning the match in poor weather conditions, and after being drawn against Sunderland in the last four, he admitted that his side are in for a difficult tie.
"I'm glad we're through. It will be a tough semi-final against Sunderland. Sunderland played well to beat Chelsea so anything can happen but we are really pleased to be in the last four," BBC Sport quotes him as saying.
"The conditions were a leveller and it was really difficult to play in tonight. It's some of the worst conditions I've played or managed in. But once we got the first goal we felt confident.
"This club is used to winning trophies, it is business as usual."
Manchester City and West Ham United will meet in the other semi-final.
