Ander Herrera lauds "fantastic" Manchester United

Ander Herrera says that Manchester United will "fight for everything" this season following the club's 3-0 victory over Everton.

Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera has said that the club showed their title credentials during their 3-0 victory over Everton.

Herrera scored the second goal of the match for the Red Devils shortly after Morgan Schneiderlin's opener, before Wayne Rooney added a third to seal the points.

United had been beaten 3-0 by Arsenal in their previous league outing two weeks ago, and Herrera was pleased that they responded in such dominant fashion at Goodison Park.

"If we keep playing like this we can beat everybody," Herrera told MUTV. "We showed everyone that Manchester United are here and that we are here to fight for everything.

"When you lose the way that we did against Arsenal then we couldn't wait for this game. I think the first 20 minutes today were fantastic and this was the way we had to react.

"When you have to fight for everything you have to play like we did."

United are back in action on Wednesday evening when they travel to Russia to face CSKA Moscow in the Champions League.
