Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley is likely to miss his side's Champions League match against Otelul Gulati on Wednesday with an ankle injury.

Tom Cleverley is likely to miss Manchester United's Champions League clash with Otelul Gulati on Wednesday with an ankle injury.

The midfielder was taken off during his side's 1-0 win at Everton on Saturday and will be sidelined for a week.

"Cleverley felt his ankle again, but he should be okay in a week," said manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

The 19-year-old had only just returned to action following an ankle problem picked up against Bolton Wanderers in September.
