Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has said that he and his teammates must maintain their current level to remain in contention for the Premier League title.
After half-a-dozen fixtures, United sit level on points with rivals Manchester City in the standings, while two convincing victories have also been recorded in the Champions League.
However, De Gea has acknowledged that there is still work to do if United are to continue to improve on last season's sixth place.
The 26-year-old told Sky Sports News: "It's just the beginning, we have had great games. We've created a lot of chances, scored goals, and we need to keep that level.
"The team is now with a lot of confidence and it is easy when you take confidence to the pitch. We have to keep winning, playing well and scoring goals."
United will hope to register their sixth win from seven matches when they host Crystal Palace at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.
