Manchester United midfielder Angel di Maria has admitted that he doesn't watch the Champions League and would 'rather play with his daughter'.
The Argentine is without European football this season after United fell short of entering this year's Europa League.
However, Di Maria shows no interest in watching his former side Real Madrid or any other team in Europe's top club competition, saying that he would rather spend time with his family.
"No, I don't watch the [European] matches," the 26-year-old said, according to Goal.com.
"I play with my daughter instead. It's more important. I knew when I came to Manchester that I wouldn't be playing in the Champions League.
"But what I was thinking — what I think now — was that I would do my bit to help my teammates qualify for the Champions League so that the next year we would be back playing important games."
The Argentine is likely to feature in United's match against Hull City this weekend.
