Ajax manager Erik ten Hag is baffled by a lack of contract offer from Manchester United, according to a report.
The Dutchman had an interview with the club last week about the potential of taking the hot seat for next season, with Ralf Rangnick's time in charge set to end following this campaign.
According to the Mirror, Ten Hag has been amazed that the Premier League outfit have not begun official contract conversations with him after that point, where he had spoken about his vision.
Money is reportedly not a problem for the 52-year-old, but it is believed that the Red Devils want to speak with other candidates before committing.
Mauricio Pochettino and Luis Enrique are both on the list of people that Manchester United would like to interview in regards to becoming the new manager.
Despite the club not contacting Ten Hag since the original conversation, they were impressed with what he had to say in regards to getting time to rebuild the current squad.
