Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has claimed that his side's win over Stoke City was a significant moment in the title race.
Ferguson's men beat Stoke 2-0 at Old Trafford while Manchester City suffered a 1-0 loss to Everton.
The two results mean that United are now level on points with City heading into February.
Ferguson said: "It is significant but we are early doors. I always say March is an important month and we have City in April."
United travel to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday.
