Alex Ferguson has said that Manchester United have what it takes to go the distance in the Premier League.
The Red Devils boss said that while Manchester City dominated the top of table for so long, they aren't capable of keeping up that success for the rest of the season.
"They were playing great football in the first half of the season, there's no doubt about that. Everyone recognised that," Ferguson said.
"We felt the brunt of it when they beat us 6-1.
"But a season lasts for a bit longer than three months."
United currently enjoy a three-point lead over City at the top of table, with eight games remaining.
