Manchester United assistant manager Ryan Giggs has revealed that the club's new manager Louis van Gaal cannot wait to get started with his new role.
Giggs said that the Dutchman is not the sort of manager who feels nerves and would instead "relish" the opportunity to succeed at Old Trafford.
"He won't be afraid of taking over at Manchester United," BBC Sport quotes Giggs as saying. "He will relish it. He will look forward to it.
"He has been at Bayern. He has been at Barcelona. He has been at huge clubs. Manchester United are, in my view, the biggest.
"He is not scared about the challenge. He is not apprehensive. He can't wait. He has the experience. It won't be easy, it never is."
Van Gaal will go straight into his new job upon the Netherlands' elimination from the World Cup and will start on Monday.
