England manager Roy Hodgson has brushed off questions regarding the international future of Rio Ferdinand by claiming that he is "not prepared" to talk about the defender.
The 34-year-old has played no part in any of Hodgson's squads since the ex-West Bromwich Albion boss took over the England set-up ahead of the 2012 European Championships.
"I'm not prepared, every time we play, to keep revisiting something I've visited every single press conference for the past 10 months," The Express quotes Hodgson as saying.
"I don't want to talk about him. I can't be fairer than I've been. I'm not prepared to talk about people who aren't here."
Ferdinand recently expressed that he is open to a return to the Three Lions squad.
