Martin Jol is confident that his side have what it takes to claim a positive result against Manchester United tonight.

Martin Jol has insisted that his Fulham side are capable of gaining a positive result against Manchester United this evening.

Fulham are unbeaten in their last two matches against the Red Devils at Craven Cottage, having claimed a 3-0 win and a 2-2 draw.

Dutch manager Jol is hoping that his side will use those results to boost their confidence ahead of United's visit.

"We've had a 3-0 win and a 2-2 draw against Manchester United in recent seasons so we seem to do well against them at the Cottage," Jol told the club's official website.

"Manchester United have that extra quality and you can't give them space. If you make a mistake they will punish you.

"We have to play to our strengths on Wednesday night and stop them exploiting their qualities."

Fulham are currently 11th in the Premier League table.
