David Moyes "sore" following Everton defeat

Manchester United manager David Moyes speaks of his disappointment at losing to his former club Everton at Old Trafford last night.

Manchester United manager David Moyes has said that he is hurt by last night's 1-0 defeat at home to his former club Everton.

The Toffees recorded their first win at Old Trafford in 21 years courtesy of Bryan Oviedo's 85th-minute strike, leaving the Red Devils 12 points off Premier League leaders Arsenal.

"I'm disappointed to lose," The Mirror quotes the 50-year-old as saying. "We missed some opportunities and Everton took theirs.

"It's a sore one against your old team. We have a long way to go, we will need to play some great football and win an awful lot of games."

United are ninth, five points behind fifth-placed Everton.
