Manchester United are in discussions with the representatives of Portuguese winger Nani over a new contract, which is likely to make the player one of the highest earners at the club, according to The Independent.
Nani has two years left on his current deal, which is reportedly worth £90,000 a week.
The 24-year-old's future had looked to be in doubt following the arrival of Ashley Young in June but, after scoring eight goals in 34 appearances for the Reds this term, Nani seems to have silenced the critics and convinced Sir Alex Ferguson to extend his Old Trafford stay.
It is likely that the player's new deal will be worth up to £125,000 a week.
