Nemanja Vidic has urged his Manchester United teammates not to get too carried away by their seven-point lead at the top of the Premier League table.
The Red Devils looked to be clear favourites to win the title last season when they had advantage of eight points over Manchester City with just six matches remaining.
However, United ended up losing the trophy on goal difference and Vidic believes that the experience of being beaten by their rivals should result in no complacency creeping in this time around.
"It is good to have this [seven-point] advantage but we have to be careful," he told MUTV. "There is still a long way to go. We have the experience of last year when we were eight points in front and in the end it didn't finish well."
Tomorrow evening United will face Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium.
