Rafael da Silva: 'We must forget this season'

Manchester United defender Rafael da Silva says that his teammates are keen to put their troubles this season behind them.

Manchester United defender Rafael da Silva has said that his teammates are keen to put their troubles this season behind them.

The Red Devils have struggled this season and look set to finish seventh in the Premier League table.

"We think about the last game but then look ahead to next season," he told the club's official website. "I believe everyone is thinking about next year, although we know we have one last game to play.

"Everyone wants to show the real Manchester United for next season. Honestly, we just have to forget this season. It was bad but we'll start again next term."

Rafael has been at United since 2007 after joining from Fluminense alongside his twin brother Fabio.
