Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that he will not discuss a new contract with Paul Scholes until the summer.
The veteran midfielder retired at the end of last season, only to reverse his decision in January of this year.
His current deal is due to expire in a few weeks' time but Ferguson has insisted that there is no rush for discussions over fresh terms.
"I'm not going to ask him until the end of the season," said Ferguson. "I don't want to put anything in his mind."
Scholes has scored three goals since his return.
