Newly-appointed head coach Erik ten Hag is reportedly undertaking a huge internal review to establish which staff members he wants to keep at Old Trafford.

Newly-appointed head coach Erik ten Hag has reportedly decided to undertake a significant internal review at Manchester United.

Ahead of the Dutchman's arrival from Ajax, interim boss and now behind-the-scenes advisor Ralf Rangnick had promised an overhaul of the first-team squad.

However, according to The Sun, Ten Hag is also intent on establishing which members of staff should stay and go at Old Trafford.

As well as wanting to spend time with each of the personnel which works with the first-team squad, the 52-year-old will also hold discussions with groundsman and catering staff.

Ten Hag has arrived at United with the club having just finished in sixth position in the Premier League standings, resulting in the Red Devils missing out on Champions League football for next season.

If reports are to be believed, three players are in contention to replace Harry Maguire as the club captain.
