Tottenham Hotspur have opened talks with the agent of Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes, according to a report.
Fernandes is believed to have attracted interest from Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham thanks to his eye-catching displays in the Primeira Liga last time out.
The Portugal international contributed 20 goals and 13 assists in 2018-19, supposedly leading to Sporting upping his valuation to £64m.
Portuguese outlet A Bola claims that Spurs are ready to make a move for the 24-year-old, with his agent Miguel Pinho in London this week to discuss a transfer.
United have previously held talks with Fernandes's camp, but the report indicates that they have still yet to decide whether to push ahead with a bid.
