Diogo Dalot has reportedly been informed by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that his opportunities will be limited at Manchester United next season and he is free to leave.

Diogo Dalot has reportedly been told that he can leave Manchester United this summer, just a year after joining from Porto.

The Portuguese full-back was signed by Jose Mourinho in June 2018 and went on to make 23 appearances in his debut campaign at Old Trafford.

Mourinho has since been replaced by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, however, and United this week moved to bring in Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace in a £50m deal.

Wan-Bissaka is almost certain to start regularly at right-back next season which, according to the Evening Standard, is bad news for Dalot.

The report claims that the 20-year-old has been informed by Solskjaer that his opportunities will be limited next season and a move away may therefore be a better choice.

United have also added to their attacking options during the off-season with the signing of Daniel James from Swansea City.
