Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson wants discussions with interim head coach Ralf Rangnick over his role at the club, according to a report.

Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson reportedly wants showdown talks with interim head coach Ralf Rangnick over his role at the club.

The England international was the team's number one for a period of last season, but he is now again behind David de Gea in the pecking order at Old Trafford.

Henderson penned a new long-term deal with the Red Devils last August, but he has featured on just two occasions in all competitions this season.

According to the Daily Mail, the 24-year-old regrets signing a new deal and wants to discuss his lack of playing time with Rangnick.

The report, though, claims that Man United are unlikely to allow the Englishman to leave Old Trafford before the end of the campaign.

Henderson's last appearance for the 20-time English champions came against Young Boys in the Champions League earlier this month.
