Ousmane Dembele is reportedly demanding a €80m (£67m) package to stay at Barcelona, with less than six months remaining on his current deal.

Ousmane Dembele is reportedly demanding a €80m (£67m) package to stay at Barcelona.

The 24-year-old has less than six months remaining on his current deal at Camp Nou and he is at risk of leaving the Catalan giants for free next summer.

With talks over a contract extension yet to reach an advanced stage, several clubs across Europe are believed to be monitoring the Frenchman's situation, including Manchester United, Liverpool, Newcastle United and Paris Saint-Germain.

According to Sport, Dembele would be willing to negotiate with Barca if they offer him €35m (£29.3m) in wages over the duration of his new deal, as well as a €30m (£25.1m) signing bonus and a €15m (£12.5m) fee to be given to his agents.

The report adds that Dembele is unhappy with the €55m (£46.7m) addition of Ferran Torres from Manchester City, as he believes the Spaniard would threaten his place in the starting lineup.

Barcelona are believed to view Dembele's terms as 'crazy', which could result in the winger negotiating a pre-contract agreement with a foreign club.

Dembele has made 126 appearances across all competitions for Barca, scoring 30 goals and registering 23 assists.
