Robert Lewandowski is reportedly determined to end his career at Real Madrid.
The 33-year-old has been with Bayern Munich since 2014, representing the Bundesliga champions on 358 occasions in all competitions, scoring 329 goals and contributing 68 assists in the process.
Lewandowski's current deal at Allianz Arena is due to expire in June 2023, though, and there has been a host of speculation surrounding the striker's future in recent months.
According to AS, the Poland international wants to finish his career at Real Madrid and is desperate to secure a move to Carlo Ancelotti's side during this summer's transfer window.
The report claims that Lewandowski has emerged as a serious option for Los Blancos, with Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland now not likely to join the club this summer.
A recent report claimed that Bayern, who are also said to be admirers of Haaland, had offered the centre-forward a new contract.
Lewandowski has again been in excellent form for his German club during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring 35 goals and registering three assists in 29 appearances in all competitions.
