Liverpool have reportedly made a loan offer for Barcelona attacker Ousmane Dembele.
The 23-year-old joined the Spanish champions in a big-money move from Borussia Dortmund in August 2017 but has largely struggled with injuries during his time at Camp Nou.
Persistent hamstring problems have restricted the France international to just five La Liga appearances this season, and he is not expected to return to action until later this year due to his current issue.
The speculation surrounding the 2018 World Cup winner's future has gathered pace in recent weeks, with both Arsenal and Manchester United thought to be keeping a close eye on developments.
However, according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Liverpool have submitted a loan offer with an option to buy as they attempt to bring the attacker to Anfield.
Di Marzio, though, has claimed that the former Rennes youngster has signalled that he has no intention of leaving Camp Nou, where he has a contract until June 2022.
Dembele has scored 19 times in 74 appearances for Barca in all competitions.
