Report: Manchester United closing in on move for AS Monaco star Fabinho

Manchester United are reportedly on the verge of sealing a move for AS Monaco and Brazil star Fabinho.

Manchester United have closed in on a move for AS Monaco midfielder Fabinho, according to multiple reports.

The 23-year-old, who can also play at right-back, was one of the players that took Europe by storm during Monaco's Ligue 1 and Champions League campaigns last season.

According to French source Foot365, Fabinho's agent Jorge Mendes is preparing to negotiate a transfer for his client, and the Red Devils are thought to be in pole position for his signature.

In addition, The Independent claims that progress is being made on the deal, while O Jogo in Portugal believes that Fabinho's Old Trafford switch is in fact close to completion.

The Brazil international is also thought to be on the radar of Manchester City, AC Milan, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain.
