Porto defender Eliaquim Mangala has conceded that he is "flattered" by speculation that has linked him with a move to Manchester United this summer.
Recent reports have claimed that United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has identified the 22-year-old as the ideal candidate to boost his defensive options, with midfielder Anderson possibly moving in the opposite direction.
Discussing the chance of a transfer, the centre-back has admitted that his current employers may not be keen to sell him.
"I am definitely flattered by the interest of such a big club like Manchester United, any player would be," he told Sky Sports News.
"I have a contract here until 2016 so even if I want to go, Porto will have their say in the transfer."
Mangala joined Porto from Standard Liege in 2011.
