Manchester United have reportedly reiterated to Napoli that they are interested in signing Kalidou Koulibaly.
Despite the addition of Harry Maguire last summer, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer remains interested in strengthening his backline during the next transfer window.
Although Koulibaly has long been linked with a switch to Old Trafford, Napoli have previously insisted that the Senegal international is not for sale.
However, with the Italian giants allegedly open to cashing in on the centre-back, it appears that United are ready to make their move.
According to Tuttosport, the Premier League outfit have been in regular contact regarding a deal for the 28-year-old.
Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be interested in Koulibaly, who is likely to cost in excess of £70m.
