Manchester United are reportedly willing to push forward with a £122m bid for Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale this summer.
The Red Devils are understood to have made Bale their main transfer target after he issued a come-and-get-me plea following his two-goal cameo in Saturday's Champions League final.
Reports yesterday suggested that United could be put off by Bale's price tag, with Madrid rumoured to be demanding £200m and the overall fee potentially rising as high as £320m including wages.
However, Spanish publication AS reports that Jose Mourinho's side remain interested in Bale and are ready to test Madrid's resolve with a £122m approach.
The Wales international has been in and out of Zinedine Zidane's team this season, starting only 24 matches across all competitions and often being brought off the bench.
However, Bale has four years remaining on his contract at the Bernabeu so Madrid are under no pressure to sell the former Tottenham Hotspur winger.
