Manchester United have reportedly agreed the principles of a deal to bring Toni Kroos to Old Trafford.
The club have been linked with the Bayern Munich midfielder for several months, but The Express claims that the managerial changes at the side have delayed the agreement.
The newspaper reports that Louis van Gaal's appointment earlier this week has allowed talks between the two sides to progress, resulting in the basics of a deal now being in place.
The German champions are said to be keen to sell Kroos to prevent him leaving on a free transfer next year.
