Joshua Zirkzee has said that "it wasn't a difficult decision" to join Manchester United this summer, as the Red Devils gave him "a very, very good feeling".
Last weekend, it was confirmed that the Netherlands international had completed a move to Old Trafford from Bologna, with the striker becoming the first signing of the INEOS era at the club.
Zirkzee, who represented Netherlands at Euro 2024, managed 14 goals and nine assists in 58 appearances for Bologna ahead of his switch to the 20-time English champions.
The 23-year-old has paid tribute to his former club but admitted that he did not have to think for too long about leaving the Italian outfit in order to make the move to Erik ten Hag's side.

Zirkzee opens up on Man United transfer
"I have a lot of trust and a good feeling about this step," he told MUTV. "It wasn't a difficult decision. I mean, I love Bologna a lot, but Manchester United just gave me a very, very good feeling.
"I'm confident that what's planned will also happen. It's been a rollercoaster, the past few weeks. Some very good experiences and I'm very happy to be here. Obviously, making a transfer to Manchester United is something very positive.
"I just can't wait to get started and continue what I basically did last season. I'm just hoping to improve every day and do the best I can.
"I'm very happy to be here. I mean, it's probably the biggest club in the world, so I can't wait to get started and get to know everyone and start this journey. I'm very, very excited.
"I'm going on a short break. Try and relax a little bit and then get back to Manchester and get it going.

Zirkzee calls Man United "the biggest club in the world"
"Obviously, it [Old Trafford] is an insane stadium. I can't wait to play in the stadium. Just very, very excited, very motivated.
Zirkzee scored 12 goals and registered seven assists in 37 appearances for Bologna during the 2023-24 campaign, before representing his country twice at Euro 2024.
The forward will provide support for Rasmus Hojlund in the final third of the field next season, and he is expected to travel with the squad on their pre-season tour of the United States.
Man United opened their preparations for the 2024-25 campaign with a 1-0 defeat to Rosenborg on Monday and are back in friendly action away to Rangers on Saturday afternoon.
