Interim manager Jose Anigo has urged Marseille to rediscover their "positive state of mind" under his guidance.
Les Phoceens have had a week to forget after losing to both Lille and Nantes in Ligue 1 in the space of four days, which resulted in the club sacking Elie Baup, having slipped to 13 points behind leaders Paris Saint-Germain.
"I directed my first training session [on Monday] morning," Anigo said in a press conference. "I know the players. I've been already here a year-and-a-half.
"I worked with Elie. I know the players. I know the work he did with the team up to now. Maybe we have to change their state of mind. We don't have to throw everything out.
"The main responsibility belongs to the players. Normally they have a positive state of mind, but they have to find it again."
Sporting director Anigo will take charge of the first team for the next four games.
