Reading came from a goal down to beat Millwall 2-1 at the New Den this afternoon, making it six wins in a row for Brian McDermott's men.
It took the hosts just over ten minutes to find the breakthrough, and it came courtesy of Andy Keogh's first goal for the club.
Reading pushed on looking for an equaliser, finally finding it just before half time through a thumping volley by Hal Robson-Kanu.
The equaliser seemed to galvanise the in-form Reading as they began the second half very brightly, but the Royals couldn't turn their immediate pressure into goals.
They did eventually find the goal to put them in front, however. Jay Tabb's ball over the top found Jason Roberts, who in turn found Adam Le Fondre, who beat David Forde in the Millwall goal.
The result means that Reading keep up the pressure on both Southampton and West Ham United in the automatic promotion slots, while Millwall remain 19th.
